SOKYMAT AUTOMOTIVE was founded in 1995 in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany.
Fuelled by stable growth of our business and workforce, we moved to our facility in Reichshof-Wehnrath in 1999, where we established one of the most innovative fully automated high tech transponder production facilities.
Since September 2008, Sokymat Automotive is part of the SMARTRAC TECHNOLOGY GROUP, a leading developer, manufacturer, and supplier of RFID components for a broad bandwidth of applications in all current frequency standards.
As part of the successful integration into the global research and development, production and sales network of SMARTRAC, we changed our name to SMARTRAC TECHNOLOGY GERMANY GmbH in September 2009.
The established and trusted name SOKYMAT AUTOMOTIVE is today and will also in the future be retained as product brand for the automotive business.
